When you hear that someone is a “medium”, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?
I used to understand a medium as someone who communicated with people who have passed away, but that was about the extent of my understanding.
Until…I realized that this was one of my gifts and that whether I liked it or not, I had to explore what it meant for my life.
When I’m trying to understand something, I’ll look the meaning of a word up in the dictionary to get its literal meaning.
Medium is an adjective and a noun. It’s a means or a way of doing something as well as the halfway point between two places.
As general as that sounds, it perfectly describes what my mediumship abilities mean to me. It’s information between myself, the person seeking the guidance, and the person who has passed, and the “means” in which I work.
Let me explain how I work specifically as a Medium.
When people hear I have mediumship abilities, the first thing most people want to talk about is if I can call in their dad or grandma, etc…This is very opposite of how I work.
When I’m connecting with you and give you a reading, it is 100% about YOU and only you. I am merely a vehicle that delivers packages M-F and up until noon on Saturdays.
Oh wait, that’s FedEx. Never mind.
But seriously, I open myself up to what your guides want you to see and hear. For example, you lost a close friend and you really, really want to hear from them. We start the reading and crickets. He or she doesn’t come through at all. Perhaps another loved one comes through or maybe no one comes through.
While this can be disappointing, it is not uncommon.
I’ve found that the only thing I’m certain of when it comes to my work, is you came to me for a purpose and whether you connect with a passed loved one or not, we’ll get to the heart of what you need to be the best version of yourself.
The messages you need to hear will be there for you when you need them, even if it feels counterintuitive.
Having more than one reading is also a great way to really grease the wheels and get moving.
I tell people before the reading to ask that person or persons to come through for you.
It is also very important you remain open to the experience and ask your guides to show you the information that is for your best and highest good. The true divine.
I look forward to meeting you in the middle!
